Decree on visa exemption

Decree No. 10/2023 of 31 March, which exempts citizens of 29 countries, among them Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway, from an entry visa for tourism and business.

What it establishes

Who is exemptCitizens of 29 countries travelling for tourism or business. Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway are included; Iceland is not on the list. See the full list.
Length of stayMultiple entries during 30 days from the date of first entry, extendable by a further 30 days on a justified request made at evisa.gov.mz or at the Provincial Migration Directorate of the area of stay.
Still requiredA passport valid for at least six months, a return ticket (except when travelling overland), proof of accommodation and a processing fee paid on arrival (about 10 EUR).

⚠️ Not exempt: if your passport is not on the list, apply for a tourist or business visa at evisa.gov.mz before travelling. The Embassy does not issue these visas.
