We believe that this platform will be an important instrument of communication and rapprochement, providing relevant information about Mozambique and publicising the activities carried out by the Embassy, as well as the services provided by its various areas of operation. Based in Stockholm, this Diplomatic Mission is also accredited to the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Finland, Iceland and the Kingdom of Norway.

Our mission is to contribute to strengthening and deepening the relations of friendship, cooperation and partnership between Mozambique and the Nordic countries in all areas of common interest. In this context, we work to promote Mozambique’s economic, tourism, cultural and investment potential, consolidating its position as an attractive destination for trade, investment and exchange between our peoples.

Mozambique maintains historic relations of friendship and cooperation with the Nordic countries, based on shared values, mutual respect and converging interests. Our purpose is to continue deepening these ties, exploring new opportunities for cooperation that contribute to the sustainable development and well-being of our peoples.

Endowed with abundant natural resources and significant economic potential, Mozambique has recorded remarkable growth in recent decades, establishing itself as one of the most promising economies in Southern Africa. Its privileged geostrategic location gives it a fundamental role as a corridor of access to the sea for several countries in the region, reinforcing its importance in trade and regional economic integration.

The protection of and assistance to Mozambican citizens residing in or travelling through the Nordic countries is one of this Embassy’s priorities. In this regard, we are guided by the principles of equality, inclusion and respect for the dignity of all citizens, with the National Flag as the symbol of the unity of all Mozambicans, at home and abroad. We also promote the values of cohesion, solidarity and harmony within the Mozambican community in the diaspora.
